Baby Olive | Highland Park IL Newborn Photographer

This sweet newborn baby girl came into my home studio for some of her very first pictures and she was such a cutie pie, I just wanted to keep cuddling with her and so did her lovely parents.

 I first met Olive’s parents when they reached to me to have their maternity photos taken a few months back.  At that time we also talked about what they had in mind for newborn photos.  Many parents express interest in capturing both maternity and newborn photos so I try to make the booking process as simple as possible by offering fully customizable bundling options designed to meet the needs and wants of each family.  This family selected a bundle of 3 sessions: maternity, newborn, and a 6-month sitter session.

The Newbon photo session took place in my home studio.  During our pre-session consultation I had learned that mom and dad preferred a minimalistic look to the photos with neutral colors, so I ensured to incorporate a cream backdrop, a cream flokati rug and super soft blankets, wraps, and bonnets. Since mom and dad liked the natural look, I offered some of my favorite props like “bird’s nest” and wire egg baskets to create some variety and interest.  Olive was sleeping soundly for the majority of the session, allowing me to pose her effortlessly.  I especially adore how she serene she looks in the first few photos on the cream backdrop wearing the lilac bonnet.  As always, we finish off the session with some family photos of the gorgeous new family of three and keepsake images of each mom and dad with their new baby girl.
