Join us as we venture out to the sprawling beachfront of downtown Chicago for some amazing views of the city skyline with my long-time clients, the Storer family. This photo shoot was all about fun, laughter, and the unbreakable bond of family. The Storer family brought their unique energy to the shoot, filling each frame with genuine laughter and love. Their interactions were natural and spontaneous, making for some truly unforgettable photos.
When discussing location options for this year’s family photo shoot, the Storer’s wanted a spot that offered great city views as well as some nature and greenery, and so we settled on two locations: the famous North Avenue Beach and the Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk in Chicago. The sprawling North Avenue beach was magnificent, as it offered so much space for the boys to run around and have fun while showcasing our beautiful Chicago skyline as the urban backdrop. The Nature Boardwalk with its famous Honecomb Pavilion and the surrounding prairie offered additional variety to the towering skyscrapers and complemented our Chicago photoshoot experience by allowing me capture serene and candid shots of the family surrounded by midwestern wildflowers.
I know you’d already noticed that the Storer’s are a stylish family. Kritika has a great eye for fashion and the outfits they select for family pictures are always on point – I can’t help but think that maybe I should hire her to be my personal photo shoot stylist…?
As I am writing this, the snow is already on the ground and it’s a balmy zero degrees today, so this post serves as a very nice reminder of the nicer weather we had this fall. Please enjoy some of my favorite shots form this photo session.
