It was so great to finally meet baby Maya. After our spring maternity session with her parents, I was sure that their daughter would be nothing short of beautiful, and I was so right! Even though she was awake for the majority of the session, this girly was so calm, just looking around the studio with her big brown eyes, which I did not mind one bit. And look at that head full of black hear. So gorgeous! You’ve done good guys. 😉
Maya is half Indian, and since elephants are kind of a big deal in the Hindu culture, Maya’s mommy brought some themed things for a few pictures. Ganesha, the deity with the head of an elephant, god of new beginnings and remover of obstacles, is very symbolic and I was happy to take some adorable images for the new family.
Maya in her amazingly soft elephant chair. I would print these two images huge on canvas in hang in her room, if I were her mama. 😉
