Elena | Glencoe IL Child and Family Photography

Elena is one of those children that does not give her smiles away for free.  But when she does smile, her whole face lights up and everything around her come to life – and all you want to do is smile back.  I love seeing this girl smile, though I also love her more serious looks, which are serene and beautiful in their own right.

This session was actually a bit bitter sweet because this might be the last time that I get to photograph Elena.  Her family has made a life altering decision to move to Colorado, and are actually already there, in their new home as I’m writing this post.  (Come back and visit, okay?)  Though it might be a bit sad for me, for them it was a celebration in sorts.   In the beginning of our session Elena’s dad received a phone call with a new job offer in their new state.  How awesome is that!?  I couldn’t be more happier for them and their amazing new beginning.
