Pratscher Family | Lake County IL Family Photographer

This wonderful family was the lucky winner of a free photo session I was giving away as part of the Olivia Act.

The Olivia Act, named after one of the children killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting on December 14, 2012 in Newtown, CT. Olivia’s family had family pictures taken a short time before she was killed. Those pictures are precious and now priceless to them. Upon hearing this, one photographer was moved to give away a 30 minute family photo shoot and has challenged other photographers to do the same. We go about our daily lives and sometimes we don’t take the time or have the resources to have family photos taken. This inspired me to do the same for a deserving family.

It was my absolute pleasure to photograph the Pratschers, and I hope that these pictures become treasures in their family photo album. 🙂
