Tracy & Max | Chicago Wedding Photographer
It was a gorgeous day in July. Tracy and Max have chosen an absolute gem of a hotel for their outdoor ceremony. Tucked away in the heart of the western suburb of Geneva, IL, The Herrington Inn and Spa offers European-like quarters, with a beautiful terrace and rooms with balconies overlooking the courtyard. In fact, there is something very French Riviera-like about this hotel – I just adored it. The ceremony was held at an outdoor courtyard, and the reception inside the hotel’s rustic, bi-level reception hall with exposed brick walls. All in all, it was a great wedding, and a beautiful setting. Thank you Kelley Demas Photography for a wonderful opportunity to photograph a beautiful wedding!
Max was so excited to see his bride all dolled up for the first time! 
I don’t know about you, but I’m a big fan of back lighting. I think that it worked perfectly to add a dreamy, romantic feel to this beautiful outdoor ceremony.
Instead of lighting the unity candles, T and M opted for “unity sand”. If you notice the sand actually differs in color, lighter is Tracy’s and darker is Max’s to reference their different skin tones. This is will be an amazing wedding day keepsake!
