Sirius’ One Year Session | Glencoe IL Child Photographer

What seemed like a traditional baby photo session for a Sirius’ first birthday, was anything but.  When I suggested we do a cake smash, the mom was really excited, but apparently had her own agenda…instead of the cake, which Sirius had already smashed on his actual birthday, they brought pancakes. Not just any old pancakes, but homemade (a la dad) blueberry pancakes, yum!  Well, I shouldn’t be saying yum because I didn’t actually get to eat them, but looking at Sirius stuffing his mouth with both hands, “Yum”! 🙂   One feeding and a few outfit changes later, dad exclaims “We almost forgot!” as he runs out of the room. We wait. Then walks in a ginormous teddy bear. That’s right. The bear is so huge, it was almost too funny.  🙂
