What kind of photography do you specialize in?

I specialize in maternity, newborn baby, child, and family portraiture.

Do you do family sessions in the studio?

I prefer to photograph families outdoors or in their homes, to capture the most natural interactions. However, when the weather is cold, I can accommodate a family in the studio for a few shots along side a child’s session.

When should I schedule my newborn session?

Studio newborn sessions should be scheduled as early as possible.  Preferably while you are in your second trimester.  I will pencil your due date in and once the baby is born, we will re-confirm the date of the session.

How old should the baby be for newborn photos?

Newborn babies photograph best when they are about 5-12 days old.  This new, they are still very sleepy and haven’t yet developed baby acne which typically comes at around two weeks. The sooner the better for studio newborn sessions!  However, if your baby is a little older we can opt for a lifestyle session in your home, which will be more easy going, capturing relationship type photos of the baby and family together.

Can you come to the hospital/birthing center for newborn photos?

Of course! These hospital sessions are called “Fresh 48” because they usually take place within 48 hours of your baby’s birth, when everything is still fresh and new. You can read more about how “Fresh 48” sessions work HERE.

When can I expect to see my pictures?

Within one week from our session, sneak peeks will be posted on Gleam Facebook page.  Your photo gallery will be completed within 4 weeks after our session.

Do you offer mini sessions?

Not at this time.

How much are your sessions?

Please inquire for details on a specific session that you might be interested in.
