4 years

This month marks four year anniversary of Gleam Photography!  Wow, 4 years! I can’t imagine that four years have already flown by. What an amazing time it has been. I’ve met so many amazing families and kiddos over the years and have taken tens of thousands of photographs.   So, I wanted to take this moment to just say Thank You to all families who have made Gleam Photography possible.  Thank you for your support by hiring me as your photographer, for trusting me to take beautiful photos of your little ones, and for your kinds words.  I truly appreciate all of you more than I can express because I really, really love what I do.

This past Sunday was also my first day back “in the field” photographing after having my second baby. What a rush it was. Really!  It was such a great feeling to be out there taking pictures again.  🙂  With my return, I bring a few changes.  Custom photography being a considerable investment, I wanted to make sure that you are able to appreciate your photographs for a long time, and thus, have implemented a new pricing structure to help you do just that.  New to Gleam pricing is a built in print credit that you would able to use on an array of amazing professional quality products such as prints, canvases, albums, and frames among others.  Yes, frames!  Not just any frames, but the gorgeous Organic Bloom Frames that are exclusive to professional photographers, meaning you can’t buy them at any store!  I’m extremely excited to now be offering these gorgeous custom frames to help you decorate your home and make use of those digital files!  New pricing is effective immediately, for new bookings going forward.  If you’d like to book a session, please contact me for the new price list.

Likewise, I have added a new session type to my packages – Storytelling Sessions. These sessions are an alternative to your typical family photo session.  They are documentary in nature and are meant to capture a ‘day’ in a life of your family, specifically focusing on a special routine that you would like to remember such as baking cookies on a Sunday morning with you kids, or going on a picnic, etc. The idea behind Storytelling sessions is to tell your story while capturing the littlest of details, in a natural, un-posed, sort of a way.   You can read more about Storytelling Sessions HERE.

So how shall we celebrate our 4 year anniversary?  I’m thinking a giveaway…?  All ideas are welcome!

While you ponder the giveaway, here are a few images of our summer 🙂
